T-LOW SAYS HE’S ON GOOD TERMS WITH Y CELEB; THEY JUST DON’T MAKE MUSIC OR HANG OUT TOGETHER AFTER “KU CHALO” TENSION

T-LOW says he and Y CELEB are on good terms and there’s no bad blood, but they just don’t make music anymore or hang in the same circles after tension over the “KU CHALO” song released in 2022.
He explained that tension over the song arose after the song went viral. “I feel like every time you do music it’s okay until the song goes out there,” he added.
T-Low told Kenny T that he was a smaller artist then, while Y Celeb was the bigger one with numbers, and every time they booked him, they wanted the rapper who featured on the song. This was one of the challenges he faced before stressing that Super was at liberty to perform the song as it was their project.
However, he clarified the ownership of the song, stating that the project started at Macky 2’s studio in Avondale, Lusaka, with only his vocals. Y Celeb added his vocals later, and he funded the project before clarifying that it was an exchange of services.
“Honestly speaking, it’s in the past… There’s no relationship; we are just existing in the same industry. I am minding my own business, and he’s also existing in his space,” he emphasized.
T-Low and Y Celeb released “KU CHALO” in July 2022, and it instantly became a local and international sensation, amassing millions of streams amid the genesis of the slogan “Ku Chalo.”
That slogan was reportedly coined by the Kopala rapper, and that seemed to be the epicenter of their differences as the song that carried the slogan’s message did not belong to the rapper himself.
One thing is clear, T Low sees no chance of them becoming close again as he has accepted that he can’t be friends or have a relationship with everyone.
