SHOCKING: XAVEN was tear-gassed while performing at SANTE LODGE in Mufumbwe last night after performing only three songs, she revealed in a post.
This happened after the rapper complained about the show organizers not letting her on stage until around midnight, despite the event center being packed to capacity.
There has been no further statement from the rapper or the lodge’s management, nor have the perpetrators been identified and arrested.
Some social media critics allege that her tear-gassing was politically motivated, as she endorsed the United Party for National Development (UPND) and its president, Hakainde Hichilema, for the August 2026 election yesterday, ahead of its campaign launch at Lusaka’s Heroes Stadium this Sunday.
Despite the incident, the Kopala queen has announced that she’ll be performing again today in Kabwe at an Agricultural and Commercial show.
However, the artist is safe.
