KONDWANI BANDA REPORTEDLY ARRESTED, SET TO BE DEPORTED TO ZAMBIA TO FACE CYBER BULLYING & OTHER CRIMINAL CHARGES
YESTERDAY pencil artist and leathersmith Mercy Gondwe alias Mercy Geh Art’s Cameroonian/American husband GERARD GEH announced that after a four-day operation, he was able to have infamous and cyber bully KONDWANI BANDA apprehended in East Africa.
Gerard Geh’s pesuit of Kondwani Banda came after he accused him of scamming individuals of deposits meant to secure jobs abroad, using his wife for financial gains and accusing his heavily pregnant wife of being a lesbian – a cyberbullying rant that lasted for more than 4 days.
Kondwani is infamously known for exposing celebrities, married couples, and writing defamatory remarks about many other people, posts that have been regarded by many as false and unverified despite his claims of fact checking.
Gerald said that the blogger was part of a large network with sponsors that exposed and blackmailed people.
“You guys don’t understand the deep blackmail that was going on behind. It was a whole network. You only saw the front end,” he said in one post.
In part, he added in another, “They have people sending them videos and info to blackmail couples, celebrities, and everyone who becomes their prey. It’s exactly what that guy has been doing. Before I got him, he had collected money from a couple of others (including celebrities).”
Mr. Geh reported that due to financial difficulties, Kondwani Banda had moved to East Africa and due to nuisance behaviour, he got evicted from his first apartment before settling in one where he was tolerated but still had difficulties meeting his rent obligations.
The self imposed youth advocate who ran a the Facebook page ‘Kondwani Banda Advocate’ which has over 196,000 followers is reportedly set to be handed over to Kenya’s Immigration tomorrow, Monday, February 9th, 2026 before being deported to Zambia.
Kondwani Banda’s arrest has excited many social users and his victims. In turn, this has also silenced his supporters just like his socials. Many now await his arrival in the country.
