MADALITSO PHIRI, alias DALISOUL, 42, faces 5 traffic offense charges after the Nissan Mitsuoka he was driving reportedly cut in front of a police motorbike, causing a collision yesterday around 11 p.m. along Mosi-oa-Tunya Road in Lusaka.
■ The singer escaped unhurt, but the police officer sustained minor injuries while the police motorbike was extensively damaged at the front.
DALISOUL, who is set to appear in court soon, has been charged with dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol and also faces charges of driving without a road license, failure to produce a fitness certificate, and failure to have third-party insurance.
The police officer was rushed to Maina Soko Medical Centre for treatment.
