MR. CROWN CREATES HIS OWN SHOW, SAYS CUUNDU ARTISTS WERE NOT INCLUDED ON MOSI DAY OF THUNDER BECAUSE THEY AREN’T ZAMBIAN ARTISTS

MR. CROWN cries foul, saying Southern Province artists are not Zambian artists, no wonder they were left out of the MOSI DAY OF THUNDER 2026 lineup.

“Mosi Day of Thunder is done; again, like always, there was no Cuundu artist because you guys from Cuundu are not Zambian artists,” said the singer in part.

Mr. Crown added that because of that, he will assemble his artist friends across the country and create his own show that will sell out.

The singer’s comments come after the just-ended Mosi Day of Thunder 2026 held at Busiku Grounds, Livingstone, took place in the Southern Province territory—a region he comes from—and he was not included in the lineup.

The organisers of the event included SKY EMPIRE, a Livingstone-based artist, on the lineup which was headlined by Nigerian Afrobeats star RUGER, hence dismissing his claims that no Cuundu artist was included.

In a different video published today on his socials, the singer softened his approach and said he’d involve Mosi Premium Lager to sponsor his event in Choma, as there will be people who consume alcohol at his event.

Mr. Crown sold out Harry Mwanga Nkumbula Stadium in Monze to an overspill last year and, to his credit, he is the best-performing artist from his region in terms of streams and influence.

This is not the first time the singer has cried foul, as he and Lucky Comedy spoke on the issue last year and even threatened to report the event organisers to Chief Mukuni.

His plea and outburst of displeasure have been met with mixed feelings, with some social media users saying he is justified while others say a better communication medium should have been used.

Nevertheless, the singer is determined to create his own stage if he isn’t given one.
