FASHION SAKALA extends his AL FAYHA stay with a reportedly over 215 million Kwacha valued contract for three seasons.
In the club’s video statement, it was said that Sakala was offered a lot of money and his loyalty was tested, but he chose trust, respect, and loyalty to extend his contract in the Saudi Pro League until June 2029.
The forward is seen as an invaluable player in the club’s project, hence the reported $4 million per season contract.
“The first football team, the Zambian international Fashion Sakala, will continue with the “Orange” until the year 2029. The renewal of Sakala’s contract comes to preserve the achievements made by the team during the past seasons and to strengthen its technical stability,” said the club in a statement.
It added, “This follows the distinguished levels the player has shown since joining Al-Fayha Club in the summer of 2023, where he has become the club’s all-time top scorer and one of its most prominent stars through his impactful contributions and major role in achieving numerous positive results.”
In the Saudi Pro League 2025/26 season, the Zambian forward scored 13 goals and made 5 assists becoming the club’s top scorer and scoring 5 more goals that the previous season.
